Unique, Rare, Vintage Locks.

Most of us never give any importance to locks other than from security point of view. But if you are a collector of these, then its not always security; its uniqueness which makes it different. Here are a few locks and each of these is special in their own way. Check them out!

Crouching Lion:

This one comes from the private collection of Mr. V. Raghunathan, President of ING Vysya Bank. It's a original 10.5 x 8 x 3 cms made of brass, est. to be from later 19th to early 20th century. 'A rare lock, it displays an amazing understanding of topology by the master craftsman of Aligarh. All attempts to insert the key into the keyhole will typically be unsuccessful! Interestingly, it is impossible to design a key which can be inserted into the keyhole directly, says the label.'
